![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope you get a flavor for our Panoply holiday style with this compilation post shared here today. We staged a Victorian style living room for Christmas, with a fainting couch and various other vintage items.īelow was a fun concept we utilized in 2013 to showcase vintage ornaments for sale in another of our booth spaces – in a large, galvanized tub. In the area pictured below, our theme was, “I’ll be home for Christmas, with the scene set in a living room with vintage luggage, all cozy and warm.Īs you can see, quality of photos from 2013 aren’t great, but we captured the essence of our style nonetheless. Our spaces were growing in 2014, and we spread our vintage items around with touches of Christmas in each. We placed a faux mantel in a living room setting, with lots of vintage toys and decor surrounding. She was a hit, as this was one of the first years this concept took off in the DIY world. ![]() In 2015, we staged ‘Miss Chrissy’, our own mannequin tree, configured from one of our own old Christmas trees. In 2016, we primarily set colorful kitchen items for the holidays, showcasing lots of red, and ornaments in various vessels. We also pick up replacements of things which are currently selling well, such as ice skates. Christmas items are the only category where we will take inventory out after the holidays (if not sold), and store for future use. Over the course of the years, we may or may not sell some of our items. We have another space in which we set a wintry, outdoor scene of sleigh riding. This year we set a child’s room theme in one booth, with a transitional cabinet that segues into our next space, a cottage kitchen (just beyond the shelf and shutter behind the cabinet pictured below).Ī portion of our cottage kitchen space is pictured below. We try to create moods and themes with the things we sell, and stage items to suggest ways to use our goods in your own home. Over the years, our rented area has expanded to the point where we now have the equivalent of four booth spaces. Here, I’m simply capturing the highlights from each. Since I’ve only been blogging since 2013, I’ll be sharing some of those holiday vignettes staged over the course of the past five years. We are located in the South Charleston Antique Mall in South Charleston, WV, and have been there since 2008. Today I am sharing some of the ways my sisters and I (collectively, we are Panoply) have styled our retail booth spaces in holiday style.
